Right In the Middle

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:20 NLT

John 20:19-20 NLT - Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

When He wasn't praying or seeking God's will, Jesus liked being in the midst of things. And according to our Promise for Today, Where two or three are gathered together in His Name - Whoop! There He is!

God has always been about our business because we ARE His business. We were created for the express purpose of relationship with Him. So much so that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to answer the call about relationship, He is the Mediator - on the Cross (in the middle) between life and death.

In life AND in death, Jesus shows up when we need Him. In the midst - right in the middle - no matter where we are or who we're with.

Prayer:

Father,
Thank You for always being there. Thank You that Your Word is true and unchanging. A solid rock on which we can stand. We want to continue to stand strong in Your Truth, surrounded by Your presence. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
