As We Have Opportunity

When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Psalm 61:2b NKJV

A friend from church died unexpectedly this morning. Another friend is in the hospital, trying to heal - her lungs ravaged by CoVID. She needs a miracle... My heart is sad, but my hope, my strength is in the Lord.

At all times, we should ever be before the Lord, but especially in these hard times. 

Paul instructed us in his letter to the Galations 6:10, So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Let us help to bear one another's burdens, prayerfully AND practically, according to God's Word. 

Let's look - really look - for those opportunities to do good for others; to offer hands-on comfort and healing, as Christ's hands extended.

Prayer:

Father,

           Open our hearts to pour out Your Love to those around us who are suffering. Open our eyes to see their needs and provide for them. We ask, Father, that You pour out Your love and healing comfort in abundance to overflowing. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
