Finding His Will

Always be joyful.
Never stop praying.
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT

People fret, stress and worry - sometimes for years - trying to find God's will for their lives. It's a lie, a deception, from the pit of hell. It's not elusive. It's not hidden.

God's will is clearly written in His Word. Our Promise for Today is proof.

Here's another - Micah 6:8 NLT,

O people, the Lord has told you what is good,
and this is what he requires of you:
to do what is right, to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God.

I encourage you to search for more. It's NOT too hard. It is written in His Word that He will give us understanding. We cannot know God's will without knowing what He said. We cannot know what He said unless we read His Word.

Prayer:

Father,
         Change our hearts by Your living Word. Help us to correctly handle the Word of Truth, Lord, to be diligent students of Your teachings, and give us understanding. Cause the scriptures to come alive in our hearts and minds, reshaping our thoughts, attitudes, and actions according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
