Excerpts of Peace

"Let me hear what the Lord God says, because he speaks peace to his people and to his faithful ones." Psalm 85:8

When in doubt, pray and read the Lord's word. What He says will always help bring about peace in your life.

“I’ve said these things to you so that you will have peace in me. In the world you have distress. But be encouraged! I have conquered the world.” John 16:33

In this life, there will be hardships, but they only last so long. Be at peace knowing that it’ll be over soon.

"Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” Luke 1:78-79

Even in the dark times, even when death draws near, the mercy of God is always available to comfort you and grant you peace.

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I give to you not as the world gives. Don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27

The peace we experience from our faith in Jesus surpasses any temporary peace the world can give; it can ease your deepest fears and soothe your troubled heart.

“May the Lord of peace himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with all of you.” 2nd Thessalonians 3:16

You are never without God, who brings you peace each and every day and is always watching over you.

Prayer:

Father, 

           Thank You for peace that knows no end. Peace that triumphs over grief and over every test and trial. Peace that gives us hope in every situation through our faith in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. And it's in His Name we pray. Amen
