Jesus with Skin On

Carry each other’s burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

You've heard someone say it - maybe even you've said it. "Yes, I know Jesus is always there for me, but right now,  I just need somebody with skin on." 

It's true. We all come to a place where we just want someone to be Jesus HERE. In the flesh. 

It's us. We're to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Compassionate. Caring. Providing what we can. Taking the time to just be there. Loving. Forgiving. 

Who do you know that you could step in and help meet their needs - even when it's not comfortable for you? As they say now... to put some skin in the game? 

Prayer:

Father,

            Open our eyes to see the needs of those around us. Open our hearts to be moved with compassion to help meet those needs. Make it even better if we can join together with other like-minded believers to surround them with Your love. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
