Faith and Trust

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

Tithing is the only place that God invites us to test or prove Him. And He has been proved time and time again as any tither will tell you!

However, in everything else, we are told to trust God in all things. Much easier said than done, but that's why God provided His Word in written form so we know what to do and how to do it.

All believers have been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3), but what we do with it determines how our faith grows. Romans 10:17 NKJV tells us, So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. [emphasis mine]. If we want to be someone who has a strong faith - world-changing faith - then we must spend time reading and studying God's Word. Let's learn Proverbs 3:5a NLT, Trust in the Lord with all your heart;

     "I praise You for the faithfulness You have shown me so many times in the past. Lord Jesus... I will choose to trust You. Help me remind myself today of Your great love and power. Help me identify fearful, anxious thoughts and lay them at the foot of Your cross. Give me the grace and power I need to meditate on truths from Your Word instead. Help me also speak positive words that will inspire others to trust You as well...
