That Time has Come

"For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths."
2 Timothy 4:3-4 NLT

Paul prophesied that the time would come when the world would reject truth. Isaiah prophesied the same thing about 700 years before Paul. "These are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction. They say to the seers, 'See no more visions!' and to the prophets, 'Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!' " Isaiah 30: 9-11 NIV 

One has only to listen to the rhetoric being spewed in today's world to know that the time has come. 

Do not be discouraged! We who are believers possess the irrefutable Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 NKJV.

Do not be discouraged! The darker the night, the brighter the Light shines. Strike a match in the darkest of nights and you will see its light. We must let His Light and Love shine through us into the darkness so those who are lost and without Christ can see to find their way to Him. Light ALWAYS overcomes darkness.

Father,

          Thank You for Truth which never changes to fit societal norms. You are always the same - yesterday, today and forever - according to Your Word. We are forever grateful for Your faithfulness. Let Your Light shine through us. Give us Your right words to say at Your right time to make the most impact to change a soul's eternal destination. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
