2nd Timothy 1:12c KJV
I am persuaded - other translations read "fully convinced" and I am - that God is everything He says He is. I am persuaded that truly His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are so far above our thoughts.
Romans 4:20-21 - He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.
I am persuaded that God will give children and grandchildren that He has promised. I am also persuaded that He will do it His way and not ours.
Romans 8:35-37 KJV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
I am persuaded that NOTHING comes against me without God's attention.
Romans 8:38-39 KJV
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I am also persuaded that EVERYTHING which comes against me will be used to develop Christ's character in me and make me fit for His purpose.
Hebrews 11:12-13
Therefore sprang there even of one [Abraham], and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
I am persuaded, fully convinced and confident that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ...
I am persuaded because I know whom I have believed...
Prayer:
Father,
We pray Your Word - For this cause we bow our knees unto You, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That You would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might by Your Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto You, O Lord, who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to Your power that worketh in us, Unto You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
