He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

This may step on some toes. I heard it again today. It's just not the Truth. We are NOT all God's children. We are all God's CREATION - by His design - but to be His child, we must be born again.
1st John 3:10 - So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.
Galatians 3:26 - For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Believing in Christ, accepting Him as the Son of God and the sacrifice of His atonement for our sin - that's how we are given the right to become God's children. No other way to the Father, but through Christ. There's no crown just for being part of the human race. How in do you want to be - part of creation or a child of God?
Prayer:
Father,
Grant us divine hearing to be able to differentiate between what sounds good and what is Truth. We don't want to be a part of the time Paul cautioned about in 2nd Timothy 4:3, For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. We want to hear and know Your Truth so that we will be set free to be Your children. Deliver us, O Father, from itching ears. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
