For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

Whether or not we want to admit it, the majority of people are nestERs of one kind or anothER. Oh, they may be adventurERs in that they want to get to a new place, but when they get there, they want to build a nest and settle in...and they become settlERs. Nothing wrong with settlERs per se; they come in and tame a place, make it law-abiding and build towns and communities... as long as they don't become ruttERs...stuck in the same rut, can't get out, and confused, still thinking they're adventurER turned settlER... Then there are those who, once they've settled a place, know when it's time to move on, and they become movERs.
We are not the Creator. We are not the MastER PlannER. We haven't even done the front end engineERing to create the scope of work necessary to be the designER of all that God has planned and all that He has provided to carry out His plan. We are here to be followERs of Christ. SojournERs in the land, not settlERs. So, which ER are you?
Prayer:
Father,
We pray as David prayed, Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You. For we are strangers before You, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own. I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix our hearts toward You. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
