The Season After Tis the Season

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all
.
Ephesians 4:1-6 NLT

It's back to work and back to school and back to the season after the holidays. What does that look like? We extended extra grace during Christmas, tried to be nicer, took time to try to make allowances for people's stresses in life. But we're back in the scuttle of life without the holiday. Now what?

News flash - we're supposed to be that way in our daily living. Verse 2 in The Passion Translation reads, With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. And there's no mention of only during the Holiday Season... Selah

Prayer:

Father,
Your mercies toward us are new every morning and we are so grateful! Your grace is sufficient for all we need to be able to demonstrate gentleness and GENEROUS love toward one another, especially those who may try our patience. Our victories are won not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit according to Your Word. Be our Strength and Guide, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
