Psalm 9:1
These excerpts are from the Psalms, but I find it absolutely amazing to find how many times in the New Testament, Jesus is mentioned by the words, "and when He had given thanks, He..." Since He did, we definitely should!

Father,
There is SO much to be thankful for! Where do we begin?!? Oh, yes - with our salvation - bought with the precious Blood of Your dear Son. There aren't enough words to thank You for this - Your greatest gift! Let our lives be an act of thanksgiving and praise to You. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen.
