The Palms

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
Isaiah 49:16a NIV

I know tomorrow is Palm Sunday and this verse doesn't have anything to do with that triumphal entry, but this is one of my favorite Scriptures because I can relate to it so well. Most of us have had a paper cut at one point or another in our lives. For such a little thing, it is really irritating! It's crazy. It's just a little paper cut, but we are constantly aware of it. And especially so every time we move our hand. It is not something we would ever do intentionally. And yet, that's exactly what God did.

God ENGRAVED His people on the palm of His hands. 

Intentionally.  

He is EVER mindful of us... by His own choice!

Prayer:

Father,
         In everything, even in the little things, keep us ever mindful of Your love, Your care and Your provision for us. Give us grateful hearts to recognize and acknowledge You in all things, at all times, through every circumstance. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
