And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Let's think about that for a moment. There is a lot of corruption in the world that causes lots of problems for people. We don't need to name the problems because odds are we've either been in those problems caused by our human desires or have been part of those problems in someone else's life.

The good news is - just as His Word states - we have been given great and precious promises that enable us to share God's divine nature and escape sin. Who wouldn't want to be free from the world's corruption?

We can be PROs! We can either be the PROblem or we can live His PROmise. It's our choice...

Father,
            Help us to walk in the light and truth of Your promises that enable us to share in Your divine nature. We want to be more and more like You. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen
